Counselling Services Website
Role: UI/UX and Web Designer | Capstone Project
As the lead UI/UX Designer for my capstone project with a counselling service, I led the full website redesign with a focus on improving usability, accessibility, and overall user experience. My role included restructuring the site’s information architecture to ensure intuitive navigation, clear content organization, and user-centered journeys for diverse audiences. I applied WCAG accessibility standards to promote inclusivity through proper color contrast, readable typography, accessible navigation, and semantic layout practices. I also refreshed the visual design system to align with the organization’s brand while enhancing engagement and responsiveness across devices. The website was implemented using a custom WordPress theme developed from scratch. This project highlights my strengths in UI/UX design, accessibility compliance, and strategic digital design for non-profit organizations.

Non-Profit Mentoring Website
Role: Web and Communications Administrator
Solely managed WordPress websites by redesigning outdated interfaces, implementing UI/UX and accessibility improvements, and optimizing site structure through comprehensive website audits. Streamlined content organization to improve usability and ensure WCAG compliance. Additionally created social media content and campaigns to support brand visibility and audience engagement.

Modernized and migrated outdated Drupal web pages to the organization’s current tech stack to resolve ongoing styling, accessibility, and performance issues. Updated and rebuilt pages using user feedback, analytics, and best practices, ensuring WCAG accessibility, SEO optimization, responsive design, and full brand consistency. Supported digital asset workflows and conducted thorough quality assurance to ensure a smooth transition to the new platform.
