Cornerstone Counselling (Redesign by Pixel Pro Web)
Role: UI/UX and Web Designer
As the lead UI/UX Designer for my capstone project with Cornerstone Counselling, I led the full website redesign with a focus on improving usability, accessibility, and overall user experience. My role included restructuring the site’s information architecture to ensure intuitive navigation, clear content organization, and user-centered journeys for diverse audiences. I applied WCAG accessibility standards to promote inclusivity through proper color contrast, readable typography, accessible navigation, and semantic layout practices. I also refreshed the visual design system to align with the organization’s brand while enhancing engagement and responsiveness across devices. The website was implemented using a custom WordPress theme developed from scratch. This project highlights my strengths in UI/UX design, accessibility compliance, and strategic digital design for non-profit organizations.

Solely managed WordPress websites by redesigning outdated interfaces, implementing UI/UX and accessibility improvements, and optimizing site structure through comprehensive website audits. Supported digital asset workflows and conducted thorough quality assurance to ensure a smooth transition to the new platform.
